In today’s busy and stressful world, people do not have the time to listen to themselves or to each other. Deep Listening Mindful Living Community is a space where people get together and practice the Art of Mindful Living for love, compassion and understanding; a space where people from all ages, races and religions can listen and be listened to powerfully.
Being part of a mindful living community helps us realize that we are not alone in this life and that we are all interconnected experiencing the same feelings and emotions. In practicing together as a community, our practice of mindfulness becomes more joyful, relaxed and steady. We are bells of mindfulness for each other, supporting and reminding each other along the path of practice. With the support of the community, we can practice to cultivate peace and joy within us and around us. We can cultivate our solidity and freedom – solid in our deepest aspiration and free from our fears, misunderstandings and our suffering. Our practice can lessen the feelings of isolation and loneliness, deepen our understanding, and nurture compassion and loving kindness to oneself and others.
